Python Basics - variable.py code challenge

This my first Treehouse course -- not sure why interactive window will not accept variable. I get the 'bummer' response.

Make sure there's no whitespace at either the start or the end of your statement.

The code you've posted is correct, but it won't pass the challenge if there's any space surrounding it.
