Python Code Challenge Problems

So, i don't know why my code isn't working for this code challenge, my code is:

def add(a,b): return

trial.py
def add(value1,value2):
  return float(value1 + value2)

The reason this is not working is because the float method can only take one argument. So you have to run the float method on each value individually. Here's what you need.

def add(value1, value2):
  return float(value1) + float(value2)
