Python super() function

Hi everyone I feel confused about super function. For example, if a class does not have a parent class, why does this class have super function? what is this super function for? if a class like :

class agile:
     def __init__(self,agile,*args,**kwargs):
            super().__init__(*args,**kwargs)
            self .agile =agile
