python was not found

I am using windows, and I entered in all the windows commands, but it just results in errors. I get this reply after running python app.py and also after running python -m venv myapp-env : Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases. I already have the python files on my computer, so what gives?
