I don't see what is wrong with this. I already know there is no call to the function yet. The browser says it's a brummer!

ā€‹<?php
function mimic_array_sum($array){
$count = 0;
  foreach($array as $elements){
    $count =  $count + 1;
  } return $count;
}

$palindromic_primes = array(11, 757, 16361);

?>

Kim,

When the challenge says to add the items in the array together it means to literally sum the items together. So if you put in an array with 14, 10, and 25 in it the function should return 49. Right now your function is basically returning the length of the array.

Try something like this?

<?php
function mimic_array_sum($array) {
  $total = 0;
  foreach($array as $item) {
    $total = $total + $item;
  }
  return $total;
}
?>
