Radial gradients & Chrome Version 36.0.1985.125 m

I am trying to follow the radial gradients video, but when I enter the background code shown in the video, i get a perfect circle instead of a box. If I try to position the center (following the video), the whole thing disappears. Am I doing something wrong?

Nevermind. The project file download had a border radius property set that was not included in the video.
