Rebase git branch

While i was doing Git tut, i realised after running into it that i was commiting into a wrong branch, now i want to copy that to the other branch, and i googled and found rebase. But not understand how to do it? I have 2 branches, ---ammar ---xyz

Now xyz has latest commit which i want to copy them to "ammar" branch.
