HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Make It Beautiful With CSS Test: Styling by Element and Class

red will not show up when typed in the css i dont understand as i am writing the css like the video told me too

when I type our red after bordercolour or in the border tag it stays gray and wont show up in the html

You need to use semi-colons after the property name and colons after the value.

.main-pg {
  border-width: 4px;
  border-style: solid;
  border-color: red;
  border: 4px solid red; /* shorthand method */
}
