JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM (Retiring) Getting a Handle on the DOM Select a Page Element By Its ID

Represents the document object the DOM?

As far as I now is the document a property of the global window variable which represents a tab in the browser.

But there can I find the DOM as an object( or is the document object the DOM )? And is JavaScript part of the DOM?

Hakim,

DOM(Document Object Model) - "The DOM model represents a document with a logical tree. Each branch of the tree ends in a node, and each node contains objects."

Here is a good example of the DOM tree: https://www.w3schools.com/js/js_htmldom.asp
