Resize my object

It is a stupid question I know, but I can't find the big square box for resizing my object. Is there any setting for that or just I didn't click the right position?

I want to be sure I understand your question- is this about the bounding box? That allows you to resize your entire object as opposed to one point at a time. Go to the View menu and choose “Show Bounding Box”, that should work and you should be able to click and resize.
