what is the the vendor directory in rails for? couldnt find answer on google

1 Answer

Vendor is a directory to hold third party files, code, etc that you didn't write yourself.

Check out this link for more information about vendors. http://programmers.stackexchange.com/questions/123305/what-is-the-difference-between-the-lib-and-vendor-folders

Hope this helps. :]

No probs.
