Ruby track complete

Hi. I completed the Ruby track today and enjoyed it. How will this help my career plans? I'm looking for a career in IT. Will Ruby help me with something like web development?

Also, will there be any new Ruby courses coming out in the future?

Ruby's also good if you're into systems administration, as it'll help with managing the whole "infrastructure as code" concept of doing configuration management as software (e.g Chef or Puppet).
