Scope

Scope the routes to only include the create, update and destroy actions

what am i doing wrong?

routes.rb 
Rails.application.routes.draw do
  namespace :api do
    resources :monkeys only: [:create, :update, :destroy] do
      resources :bananas
    end
  end
end

You will need to add the [:create, :update, :destroy] actions onto the bananas resources as well...and you forgot a comma after monkeys (and a comma will have to go after bananas (,only). Hope this helps
