Where did he get the "file screenshot.png file" from?

Hi Tarry,

This is a screenshot you use to display what the theme looks like in the Appearance section.

You can download this via the Downloads section under the video followed by the Project Files zip file.

In the projects downloads:

WordPress-Theme-Dev---Treehouse folder > final-theme folder > treehouse-portfolio folder > screenshot.png

Hi Tarry,

I also suggest creating your own, you can do this by making a 880x660px file. Use your screen clipping tool, grab a creative commons image and modify to the right size, or just make a new one in your favourite drawing program. Its a good exercise.

Then upload this to the root of your WordPress theme folder.
