SCSS Compiler Behind on Work

I've found that the SCSS compiler says that it detects changes, and writes changes but doesn't make the changes to the file until I make the next css declaration or delete the one I just made - then it shows in style.css.

Used command "sass --watch scss:css" and "sass --watch scss/style.scss:css/style.css" - both give the same behavior.

Any tips on how to fix this? Is this a glitch with WorkSpaces?
