Ok got it, well let's look at it this way;

  1. HTTP stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol 'wink'
  2. Treehouse will be our name of the website, also known as domain name.
  3. our last part of the site will be something like .com or .io or .me or .net or .org and so on, that is our top level domain
