Setting npm Tasks

I was wondering how I would make a task in npm that just typed what I wanted to type in the command prompt. However, it doesn't seem to work and I'm not sure what to do. I want the command to type this set GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=C:\path and then cd to the path directory and start the js file there... Last time I tried, there was some error with trying to type the path and I wasn't sure how to fix it.
