HOw do you initialise shared preferences in OnCreate?

MainActivity.java

  private SharedPreferences.Editor mEditor;
  private SharedPreferences mSharedPreferences;

    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

Hi Malcolm I would normally initialize it like this:

    SharedPreferences preferences = PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(this);
