Should this while loop work?

It doesn't for me, can anyone please help me?

GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;
  private int lapsDriven;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }
  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return barCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return MAX_BARS == barCount;
  }

  public void drive() {
    while(barCount >= 0) {
      lapsDriven++;
      barCount--;
    }
  }
}

Good going!

well, you see, you need to pass the laps, that user want to go. So you need to pass laps as a parameter in drive method.

 public void drive(int laps) {
    while(laps>lapsDriven){
      lapsDriven+= 1;
      barCount-=1;
    }
  }
