Why did they even keep this video. They could have put something in the video like a slider that pops up that says [This is deprecated] <-which is what they say they were going to do whenever Eclipse varies from Android Studio. but no... now a bunch of people finished this tutorial only to run into errors and frustration and then realize all they did was useless.

17,228 PointsThe way they use the tab is also deprecated, but theres a solution for that. You can add up a toolbar to your app and still watching the videos. A little bit of google search will help you to implement the toolbar and the tab for your app. I think they keep the videos because the most important skill to learn in this course is to use a Baas.
