Sketch 3 iOS Design Workflow

I understand that @2x and @3x are exporting sizes for iPhones 4-6 and 6 Plus respectively. But one thing that I'm not sure about is do you start designing in an Artboard for iPhone 6 plus and scale down and export @1x,@ 2x and @3x or should I design using a 4-inch iPhone Artboard and scale up? I was wondering how do you approach that and what's the best iOS design workflow in Sketch 3?

Iman,

When I develop images for apps. I always start with the highest resolution. Then scale down. Sometimes this requires me to touch up the smaller icons/images but it's not very often.
