Slices Error: "Didn't get the right items from first_4"

I think I've coded the function correctly, but I can't seem to understand what's wrong my slice...

slices.py 
def first_4(items):
    items = []
    return items[:4]

You are re-assigning items with this line

items = []

losing whatever information is being passed in. Remove that and you should be ok.
