So, the 1-click install uploads the files and creates the database vs the 5-minute install requires manually doing both?

I just watched the videos and I got confused. The reason we create our own database is because the 5-min install doesn't include that, whereas the 1-min install does?

Correct, the 1 click install means the web server host already had wordpress installed, and when you use that process, it runs a script that creates the database, and sets up the wpcofig.php file for you.
