Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Slices sillyCase

Splitting a Sting

I can not seem to figure this one out. Am I over thinking this one?

sillycase.py
del sillycase(silly):
    mid = (len(silly)+1) /2
    first_half = silly[:mid].lower()
    second_half = silly[mid:].upper()
    return first_half + second_half
