HTML How to Make a Website HTML First What is HTML?

Stage 2 "HTML First"

I was curious to what it meant about Facebook when I read

"HTML was not originally designed for 2:13 complex web applications like Facebook or Twitter. 2:17 Rather, it evolved to serve that purpose. 2:19 And, it's only recently that HTML has 2:21 implemented features to serve these more interactive environments. 2:25 As we continue to learn more, you'll find that 2:28 web languages are just as flexible as they are powerful."

Thanks! But I also was curious to what kinds of features they serve?

HTML was not, when it was first designed, made to run complex web based applications like facebook. Facebook has a ton of interactive parts (like, comment, unsubscribe, post, play video, etc.) and HTML wasn't really made for that kind of thing
