Hi Ellie,

The issue with your code is here

var data = {
      q:    "Portland,OR",
      unit: "metric"
            format: "json"
  };

First you dont need the format for this exercise so you can delete it.

Then you need a new property called 'units', you called it 'unit'.

So the code should look like this:

var data = {
      q:    "Portland,OR",
      units: "metric"
  };

The property name should be units with an 's', not 'unit'.
