State automatically saved

Hi!

In this video you say that any view that has a unique id will automatically be saved and restored by Android. But in the Fun Facts app, the Views also had unique ids but we had to save and restore them manually.

Im kind of confused about this.

The values of member variables are not automatically saved and restored and that is what had to be done manually in the FunFacts app. That is different than text entered in an EditText or the scroll position of a ListView.
