Still getting the error

When I try to execute this it shows 'sundaes' should be a list. Any idea ?

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')

Hi Chinmay Tare

It looks like you are using strip() but that is not the string method it is asking you to use for this challenge.

ya. that was a typing mistake but still even if use split(), i am getting the same error

If I copy paste your updated code, it passes. And the next step gets a new different error.

This is the code I used for all three step in the challenge, and all the items passed. Hope it helps.

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';') # step 1
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}." # step 2
menu = menu.format(', '.join(sundaes)) # step 3
