JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Create a max() Function

Still stuck..

I've tried everything!

script.js
function max (a, b) {
  if (a>b)
    return a;
  } else {
    return b;
    }

You're close, but:

  • the "if" is missing an open brace after the condition
  • the function itself is missing a closing brace at the end
  • you don't need an "else" because you always want to return a value

Experimented a bit and solved it... thanks
