Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Dictionaries String Formatting with Dictionaries

String Factory code not passing.

I ran this on Workspaces and it worked perfectly. It doesn't pass in the challenge however. What is wrong here?

string_factory.py
def favorite_food(name, food):
    return "Hi, I'm {} and I love to eat {}!".format(name, food)
favorite_food(**{'name': 'Matty', 'food': 'carrots'})

Hey Mathew - The exercise is asking for a dictionary as the arg.

This worked for me.

def favorite_food(d): return "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!".format(name=d['name'], food=d['food'])

Hope that helps.

Ah that makes sense! Thanks a lot
