string interpolation

Task 1 of Swift Basics. why am I not getting it right?

strings.swift
// Enter your code below
let name = "Lata."

let greeting = "\("Hi there"), \(name)"

1 Answer

You only interpolate variables, not Strings:

let greeting = "Hi there, \(name)."

Note that the final period is outside the interpolation.
