I think the instructions for the task might have confused you a bit. When they say you should use "getString(int id)" they mean that the getString method takes an argument called id of type int. You are not actually meant to include the word int before the argument like you have done. If you remove that like this:

Button loadPuppiesButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.puppiesButton);
String buttonLabel = "";
loadPuppiesButton.setText("LOAD");
buttonLabel=getString(R.string.morePuppies);

Then you will be able to pass to task 4.
