Strings and variables

The task asked me to declare another variable "lastName" but as I coded the compiler says that it does not pass the 1st task.

IO.java 
// I have imported java.io.Console for you.  It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readline("What is your firstName?  ");
String lastName = console.readLine("What is your lastName?  ");

Hi Manisha,

Check your method name. You've got different capitalisation for readLine. Check the documentation for the correct method name but I think it is readLine not readline.
