Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Try and Except

You just need to modify the original code from step 1 not add to it.
Here is what I did:

def add(num1, num2):

    try:

        total = float(num1) + float(num2)
    except ValueError:
        return None
    else:

        return total

awesome, had right idea just wrong application.
