stuck again

here is my code:

<?php
$sum = 17129;
function mimic_array_sum($array) {
                      $sum = 0;
                 foreach($array as $element) {
                             $sum = $sum + $element;
                       }
                       echo $sum;
                }
$palindromic_primes = array(11, 757, 16361);

?>

Question for reference: "Write the code inside this mimic_array_sum() function. That code should add up all individual numbers in the array and return the sum. You’ll need to use a foreach command to loop through the argument array, a working variable to keep the running total, and a return command to send the sum back to the main code."

Make sure you are returning the sum not just printing it to the screen.

What I see wrong here is that you are using echo instead of return. You do not want to display this on your screen so you do not need to use echo. Instead you need to return it to your main function using retun instead.

return $sum;

That is the only problem that I see.
