Stuck in the Scrabble Game Challenge

I used the if statement , but i don't know where is the problem .

ScrabblePlayer.java

  public String getTiles() {
    return tiles;
  }

  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
    boolean isUsed = tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1;
        if (isUsed) {

      }
    return isUsed;

  }

Without testing the code I would assume this is the issue, or at least one of them.

public void addTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Add the tile to tiles
    tiles = tiles += tile;
}

It should be tiles += tile; instead of tiles = tiles += tiles;
