Stuck with .htaccess file

I had a 500 error so I used the rewrite base with the absolute directory. I still get a 505 and can't move forward.

I tried it with the default set up and with base.

.htaccess RewriteEngine On

#RewriteBase /c:/wamp/www/

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f

RewriteRule ^ index.php [QSA,L]

MOD: edited to format for readability

I formatted your question, but I am not knowledgeable enough on .htaccess to be able to help you at all with your question.

I solved it! If you use Wamp you need to enable mod rewrite in Apache http.config

Goto /c:/wamp/bin/apache/http.config and search mod rewrite and un comment it out and it will work.
