styling issue

After typing in @import 'base/index'; @import 'layout/index'; @import 'components/index'; Into application.scss The only thing that is in the application.css file is this comment line: /*# sourceMappingURL=application.css.map */

if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Importing those files will not not change anything by themselves. You have to called different mixin with @include which exist in those files.
