need help

func greeting(person: String) {
  var person = "Tom"
  println("Hello \(person)")

  }
  greeting("person")

Hello Mark,

The issue is that, by setting the value of person to "Tom", "Tom" will always be printed. So it's as simple as not setting a value for that variable, and assuming that somebody else (the user) will.

func greeting(person: String) {
  println("Hello \(person)")

  }
