it's say :JavaTester.java:108: error: cannot find symbol
symbol: method equal(String)
location: variable firstExample of type String
i dont know what's that error
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console. String firstExample = "hello"; String secondExample = "hello"; String thirdExample = "HELLO"; if(firstExample.equal(secondExample)) console.printf("first is equal to second");

the (a) proper method name is equals, not equal. also you are missing the curly braces around the body of the if statement. add an s to equal and the curly braces and it will pass.
