Syntax Error

I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, but I keep getting a syntax error (<string>) line 5... what am I doing wrong?

membership.py
time = 15

store_open = None if time in store_hours store_open=True else: store_open=False
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]

The correct syntax for what you are trying to do is:

time = 15

store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]

store_open = True if time in store_hours else False

That said, at this stage in the course, you're not expected to be able to write it so concisely. The solution you're expected to come up with is:

time = 15

store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]

if time in store_hours:
    store_open = True
else:
    store_open = False
