Table View Styles and Accessory Views

When i come to add the check marks beside on the cells i receive two errors.

  1. Incompatible pointer types initializing "UITableView with an expression of type "UITableViewCell" 2.Property "accessoryType" not found on object of type "UITableView"

Below is my code

  • (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didDeselectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath {

    UITableView *cell = [tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:indexPath]; cell.accessoryType = UITableViewCellAccessoryCheckmark; }

would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on where I am going wrong

Edit - Nevermind! i missed the word Cell in UITableView! Silly mistake.
