Tables back in the day...

I don't have a question. Just a memory...

I remember back in the day (late '90s) when I was a freelance web designer. I can vouch for the use of tables to assist with placement. It was a nightmare! I've only done a few websites since that time and I used a CMS to do those (which is why I'm here now to catch up on the last few decades of web development).

It was nice to see my old friend, the <Table>. Most attributes deprecated, but it looks like it's still useful in a few minor ways.

Yeah I was surprised to still see it used. I guess its only used to show a data table not for layout. Just as long as I never see <IFrame> again.....
