Techdegree: can I skip the courses that are review for me?

I've started the full stack techdegree but have been a web developer since 2006. I don't want to spend time brushing up on my HTML and CSS since I use it daily. So long as I am able to complete the main projects for my degree and pass the exam, can I skip the course bits I know? Or will the website prevent me from moving forward? I'd be willing to provide some of my work to demonstrate those skills.

Thanks in advance, friends. :)

Hey Nat Feibish 👋

Unfortunately at this time there is no way to completely skip courses, the platform requires you to finish the all the material in a unit before you'll be able to submit a project.

That being said though there's no need to actually watch all the videos in order to mark a course as complete. If you only take the quizzes and challenges that are present in a course you'll receive the badges and the entire course will be marked as complete.

Hope this helps 😃
