Text Editors

Any recommendations on good free text editors? I have TextWrangler downloaded but can't figure out how to preview the work on a browser.

What OS do you use? Sublime Text is popular and works on pretty much all. TextMate is a nice free editor for Mac OS.

Sublime Text 2 is one of the best text editors right now. And Brackets.
