Thank you Treehouse, and all of the community!

A massive thank you to all who have created this amazing site, and the amazing community who support every learner on here. I started learning front end development about 3 years ago, to begin with as a hobby and then with a real desire to enter the industry. I'll be honest, being self taught can leave you with a slight lack of confidence, "Am I ready to apply?", "Will I embarrass myself in an interview?" , "Does my portfolio website look professional enough?" and a million other doubts.

On Thursday I was accepted for a junior position, I can't begin to explain how much of an amazing feeling this is for me, I was dancing around my living room. I didn't go to university, I thought I would struggle because of this (I'm 33), though I got there.

To anyone is finding it tough, struggling to grasp a concept or thinking it seems too much like you'll never understand... Persevere. Ask the group. Move on to the next level and come back. This last one for me has been a massive realisation, move up, realise it makes no sense but persevere, you may find that when you go back to what you were struggling with might make a little more sense when you've seen how the concept works in a bigger picture.
