The following code makes the challenge freeze, why?

name='Jane' subject='Treehouse loves {}' subject.format(name)

strings.py
name="Meret"
subject="Treehouse loves {}"
subject.format(name)

Hey Meret,

It looks like you are attempting to use .format on a the subject variable rather than on the string that subject is set to. See the code below as it passes.

name = "Matthew"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

Hope this helps! :)
