The instance variable _predictions is not recognized

When I type in the Getter that has the condition that checks:

if (_predictions) == nil {

the _predictions doesn't turn blue. I get an error "Expected expression"

try using

 if (_predictions == nil) {

_predictions == nil needs to be between the ( ). you only had _predictions inside before
