Development Tools Console Foundations Getting Started with the Console Running Commands

The Launch Console is not launching.

I'm using Chrome on Windows 7. I receive an error that console.teamtreehouse.com is not responding. Is there any chance I can get the Linux console to work or will I need to download and install Ubuntu?

If so, are there any great resources to guide me through the installation process so that I can run it side by side my current OS? I heard it can be quite a tricky and possibly dangerous task..

You can dual boot linux mint. Depending on your hardware you can also start a virtual machine and install there.

Thanks Carman. I'll google those options :)

When I had windows that's what i did. Except for a virtual machine but I know people who went that route.
