The purpose of "nav a:visited { }"

Hi, I would like to know what exactly the purpose is for "nav a:visited { }" on CSS.

Is it to highlight the nav links we visit? or what?

Thanks so much for your help.

Hi Harold

Yes "nav a:visited { }" will style the links you have visited. Below the colour of the visited link will be green.

nav a:visited {
  color: green;
